The Youngstown Neighborhood Corporation (YNDC) and the Minority Business Assistance Center (MBAC) at the Youngstown Business Incubator are offering a free contractor's workshop to learn more about becoming a full-lead abatement contractor.

"YNDC contracts several million dollars worth of construction work each year and has many opportunities for contractors, especially those with lead certifications, to bid on and win contracts to do this important work," YNDC Housing Director Tiffany Sokol said. "I will be sharing the process for applying to work for YNDC as a contractor as well as a new opportunity for contractors to obtain their Lead RRP certification and other lead certifications at no cost to them."

The event will be held from 5 - 7 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at the Youngstown Business Incubator.

Those interested in applying can do so here by Nov. 14.
