Reward offered for info leading to arrest of Youngstown shooting suspect
A Girard man wanted for fraud and shooting a man during a robbery has been named the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force Fugitive of the Week.
Benjamin White, 26, is a suspect in the early morning robbery involving two people who were robbed at gunpoint on the 200 block of Gaither Avenue in Youngstown last month.
White allegedly shot a 42-year-old man before fleeing the scene.
YPD identified the suspect with the help of one of the victims and issued a warrant for felonious assault and aggravated robbery.
White is also wanted in Columbiana County for allegedly defrauding Norfolk Southern out of over $16,000 worth of funds intended for victims of the East Palestine train derailment.
A warrant has been filed in Columbiana County for his arrest with charges of theft by deception and falsification.
White is described as a white male, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 210 pounds.
