A Warren man accused of beating a woman and kicking an infant across a room will be held without bond according to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office.

Twenty-six-year-old Tyrell Williams was arraigned in the Trumbull County Court of Common Pleas on four counts of kidnapping, two counts of felonious assault and two counts of domestic violence. All of which came with repeat violent offender specifications.

Judge Ronald Rice ruled that Williams is to be held without bond due to a video which appears to show Williams beating a woman and kicking an infant across the room. According to the Prosecutor's Office, Judge Rice believes Williams to be a danger to the public.

The incident occurred in July of 2023 in a home on the 1800 Block of Sixth Street SW when Williams allegedly came to the victim's home and the two allegedly got into an argument that eventually turned physical with Williams allegedly striking the victim with a closed fist.

Police eventually obtained the aforementioned video from the victim's mother, which police say shows Williams kicking the child in the face and kicking him again across the room followed by him body slamming the victim while she was holding the child.

Police described the video as "hard to watch."

Williams was eventually found and arrested in the Chicago area the following month. He was taken to the Lorain Correctional Institution for violation of his post-release control for previous felony convictions.

He was also arraigned in court on Thursday on one count of escape in this case.
