People visiting the Valley have a new place to stay, with the opening of a new hotel off Route 224 in Canfield.

TownePlace Suites and SpringHill Suites by Marriott is holding its grand opening on Wednesday, November 1st. The joint hotel is located in the Westford Lifestyle Community at 4100 Westford Place, in front of Kensington Golf Course.

The property has 101 extended-stay suites, that are suited for those on business trips or those in town to visit family. The large suites have separate areas to sleep and work and are equipped with typical hotel amenities like a mini fridge, microwaves, and trundle sofas.

Guests may sit down to a hot breakfast at the in-house Bistro. The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi, a fitness center, a swimming pool, and a business center.

In addition to Kennsington Golf Course, the suites are near Kennsington Grille, Courtyard Marriott, Waypoint 4180, The Kennsington Golf Simulator Lounge, Mercy Health Canfield Surgery Center, Panera Bread, and many more places to shop or dine.
