A Warren man who authorities say used a baseball bat to smash windows at the Trumbull County Children's Services office is going to jail.
Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Judge Ronald Rice on Thursday sentenced 39-year-old Jeremy Feidler to two-and-a-half years in jail.
Feidler pleaded guilty last month to charges of aggravated vandalism and aggravated menacing.
Police say that back in August, Feidler smashed the glass door and windows of the Children's Services office on Reeves Road, causing $6,000 in damage.
According to TCCS Executive Director Timothy Schaffner, a receptionist locked the front door just as the suspect began hitting the glass approximately 10 to 15 times with the bat.
