Palestinians and supporters gathered for a demonstration in Boardman on Wednesday.

Hundreds of people lined Route 224 with flags and signs, calling for an end to the violence, and an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestine.

"The Palestinian people who have lived under Israeli occupation for over 75 years, it even goes back before the Nakba of 1948," said Youngstown Arab American Community Center President, Suhad Hadi. "I think that the people who lived under occupation don't want to see death anymore, we don't want to see it on either side."

Hadi encourages people to research in order to get a better understanding of the conflict, and how it got to this point.
