A Warren man was handed his sentence in court on Wednesday for his role in the theft of nearly $11,000 worth of merchandise from a business in Liberty Township.

According to court employees, 32-year-old Cory Richards was sentenced to three years of probation with basic supervision and must enter and complete NEOCAP.

Court records show Richards pled guilty to one count of grand theft of a motor vehicle back in August. 

The charge stems from an incident back in March of 2023 where Richards and other assailants all wearing masks stole $10,807 worth of merchandise.
