Counseling will be available again Monday at Lakeview Middle-High School for students needing support following Thursday’s fatal traffic accident.

No classes are scheduled due to the Columbus Day holiday.

School officials say in a Facebook post that the school will be open from noon until 2 p.m. on Monday, October 9th to any student who would like to come in for additional counseling.  Trained counselors, ministers, and Lakeview staff members will be on hand.  Access to the school will be through the main high school entrance only.

According to authorities, State Police 18-year-old James Harrison, Aliya Harvey, and Harmony Leige, both 17 years old, died when the car they were in veered off Skunk Run Road, struck a tree and caught fire.

Lakeview's homecoming game scheduled for Friday, October 13 has been postponed and rescheduled for October 20 and will be combined with the district's Senior Night game.
