Hubbard police have released pictures of the suspect and car connected to Tuesday's armed robbery of the Shell gas station on West Liberty Street.

A drone, state troopers, a K9, and police from several agencies spent most of Wednesday morning searching for the two suspects after the clerk reported being robbed by a masked man with a gun just after 11:30 p.m.

Shortly afterward, police chased a car to the dead end of West Park Avenue, where two men jumped out and ran onto the property near the Pine Lake Golf Club.

Authorities surrounded the area, using thermal imaging cameras in an attempt to locate the suspects.

As of Wednesday afternoon, they have not been able to find either suspect. Police said they're not sure if the suspects are still in the area but want the community to keep an eye out because it was an armed robbery.

The robbery occurred not long after police searched a wooded area near Masury Road where a domestic situation occurred.  Police say the two incidents are not connected.
