Platz Realty Group has released renderings of what an upcoming 700-24,500 square foot retail plaza coming soon to the city could look like.

According to Platz Realty Group Agent, Don Thomas, there are "a lot of moving parts" to this project, and nothing is set in stone yet. However, Thomas does say that there are some tenants lined up.

The plaza, located at 8, N Broad Street, would consist of multiple different types of businesses with the target for the larger area being a specialty grocery store and the smaller units consisting of a local clothing dealer, a specialty restaurant and a coffee and ice cream shop.

When it comes to funding, Thomas tells us the smaller units would be funded out of pocket, but funding for the larger unit depends on the needs of the tenant.

In terms of job creation, Thomas tells us that if all goes as planned this development should create between 80 to 90 jobs for the area.

More information on the project is expected to come within the coming months according to Thomas.
