Kisling Nestico & Redick have announced a large donation of over 600 books to The Friends of the Youngstown Free Library on Wednesday for National Literacy Month.

The Poland-based law firm donated a total of 618 books on behalf of the KNR Cares Program, which reflects the firm's commitment to education, literacy and betterment of the Youngstown community.

The Youngstown Free Library is a cherished hub for community members of all ages and The Friends of the Youngstown Free Library plays a crucial role in ensuring its continued success.

Our team at KNR understands the profound impact that access to books and educational resources can have on the lives of individuals and families. We believe that by supporting our local library, we are investing in the future of Youngstown," said KNR Managing Partner John Reagan.

KNR's donation includes a wide range of titles catered to the various interests and backgrounds the Friends of Youngstown Library serves including book lovers, information seekers, tech enthusiasts, music aficionados, movie buffs and much more.

Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County (PLYMC) Deputy Director Deborah Liptak says these donated books will be sold at the Friends Bookstore located in the lower level of the Poland Library.

Proceeds from the sales of these books will be used for children's programs at PLYMC's various branches.
