4 departments battle blaze at vacant Sharon home
Officials say the fire began in the back of the home and worked its way up to the chimney.
Fire crews from four departments battled a blaze at a vacant house late Monday night.
The fire broke out at a home in the 600 block of Baldwin Avenue in Sharon around 10 p.m.
Brookfield, Farrell, Hermitage and Sharon firefighters worked together to get the flames under control.
Officials say the fire began in the back of the home and worked its way up to the chimney. They also told 21 News that the homeowners moved away a few years ago.
There's no word yet on the cause, but investigators will be back on scene Tuesday.
