The Mercer County Coroner has identified the victim in a fatal crash involving an Amish buggy in East Lackawannock Township Tuesday morning. 

 73-year-old Mary Byler was riding in a buggy traveling along New Wilmington Road when she was struck by a vehicle around 8 a.m. She was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Dispatchers were told that someone on the scene was performing CPR on an injured person.

The crash happened at the 1100 block of Mercer New Wilmington Road. 

The road was closed between Rodgers Road and South Stone Base Road while the crash was being investigated.
