Upcoming road closures in Mahoning County

Blott Rd. and Gibson Rd. will both face closures this week for culvert replacements.

There are currently two roads set to close this week in Mahoning County for necessary culvert replacements, according to the County Engineer's Office.

Blott Rd in Jackson Township will close between SR 45 and Rosemont Road from Tuesday through Friday. The detour around road work will include SR 45, Mahoning Ave, and Rosemont Rd.

Gibson Rd, which runs through Austintown, Canfield, Jackson, and Ellsworth, will close between S. Lipkey and S. Turner from Wednesday through Friday. The detour runs from S. Turner to Kirk, then to S. Lipkey.
