A Youngstown man has received his sentence in Court Wednesday afternoon for the aggravated assault of his daughter and girlfriend.
Forty-two-year-old Jacob Navarro-Santiago was sentenced to 24 months with credit for 80 days served.
Navarro-Santiago was sentenced on three counts of Domestic Violence and one count of Attempted Felonious Assault.
The charges stem from an incident from January of 2023 when Santiago violently threw his daughter to the ground causing her to break her arm. He also threatened his kids and his girlfriend with a knife.
Originally, Navarro-Santiago was charged with Felonious Assault, but this charge has since been amended to Attempted Felonious Assault. All other charges against him were dropped.
