Jazz in the Park wraps up 30th year with Finale on Sunday

The 30th year of Jazz in the Park is about to end, but there's still one concert left if you need your jazz fix.
The last concert for Jazz in the Park will be Sunday, September 3rd at 3pm in Wick Park, and features a set that will "bring the house down."
Starting at 3, Jazz in the Park will have an hour and a half jam session with local artists and surprise guests, including Grammy-nominated guitarist Rick Ward.
Following the jam session, Jazz in the Park will host performances by Kenn Bell & The Franchise Band plus Reagan Gray.
“We couldn’t do any of this without the sponsors, the vendors, and the public showing up to support us. We appreciate that very much,” said Jeff Green, one of the founders and coordinators of Jazz In The Park. “Thank you, thank you, thank you!”
The concert is expected to conclude around 7pm, but will be followed by Jazz in the Park After Dark at The Octave Live Music Cafe in downtown Youngstown. That event will pay tribute to and honor Jeff Green and his contributions to Youngstown's music scene.
Both events are free to all concertgoers.
