Shepherd of the Valley CEO receives LeadingAge Ohio Visionary Leadership of Honor Award
Shepherd of the Valley CEO, Rich Limongi has received the prestigious LeadingAge Ohio Visionary Leadership of Honor Award for his contributions and visionary leadership within the field of aging services.
The award, given to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding dedication and impact in the aging services sector was presented to Limongi during LeadingAge Ohio's annual conference this week.
Limongi has been working for 30 years in advancing the well-being and quality of life for older adults.
"This recognition is a tribute to the collective efforts of the entire Shepherd of the Valley team in redefining aging services and enriching the lives of those we serve," Limongi said.
Some of Limongi's biggest achievements include the opening of Shepherd of the Valley's $32 million Liberty community, Shepherd of the Valley's first Memory Care neighborhood, the launch of ventilator care in the Liberty community, the launch of the Shepherd employee STNA certification program, as well as the launch of its medication aide program.
A press release from Shepherd of the Valley describes Limongi as a "trailblazer in the industry" who inspired and mentored countless professionals instilling a sense of purpose and passion for enhancing the lives of seniors in the Valley.
