Police and emergency services are responding to a car versus semi accident on the corners of Mahoning Avenue and North Turner Street in Austintown.

Officials on scene tell 21 News that the driver of the car sustained minor injuries but was not taken to a hospital.

However, there car has been heavily damaged.

The semi-truck does not appear to be in any poor condition according to a 21 News journalist on scene.

It's unclear how the accident was caused.
