Two OVI checkpoints in Boardman Friday night

Two OVI checkpoints will be in place in two different spots in Boardman Friday night and early Saturday morning.

According to a release from the Mahoning County OVI Task Force, the first will be held from 10:00pm to 12:00am on South Avenue near Midlothian Blvd, and the second will be from 12:30am to 3:00am on Market St. near Ferncliff.

As is standard practice, the OVI checkpoints will be operated in conjunction with the Ohio State Highway Patrol and also include nearby saturation patrols.
