Full Spectrum surpasses fundraising goal for new 'Transitional House'
The Transitional House will seek to provide housing and a supportive community for LGBTQIA+ valley residents who need a safe place to stay as they face over double the homelessness rate of their non-LGBTQIA+ peers.

Full Spectrum Community Outreach, an organization centered around creating a community for LGBTQIA+ people in the valley, has announced it has reached and surpassed it's $78,862 fundraising goal to open a new LGBTQIA+ Adult Transitional House in the valley.
According to the announcement made on Facebook, the money will be used for closing costs on the space on July 31st, and all extra funds will go towards renovating and improving the space.
The Transitional House will seek to provide housing and a supportive community for LGBTQIA+ valley residents who need a safe place to stay.
According to a study from the University of Chicago, LGBTQIA+ youth are over twice as likely to face homelessness compared to their non-LGBTQIA+ peers.
