KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: Greenville Heritage Days Festival

The Annual Greenville Heritage Festival is set to kick off on Friday, July 7.
The festival has been held in Greenville every July for the past 16 years and offers a chance to experience the rich history of the community while enjoying fun for the whole family.
Friday and Saturday, Riverside Park will be packed with craft and food vendors, inflatable rides, a free kids' zone and the annual fireworks show to close out the weekend.
The family fun zone will contain rides a petting zoo.
Bracelets for all day riders are $6 per rider ($4 for children 3 years old and under) day of and $4 per rider ($2 for children 3 and under) in advance on Friday. On Saturday, all day bracelets are $10 ($5 for 3 and under) on the day of and $8 ($3 for 3 and under) in advance,.
For the petting zoo, admission is $3 per ticket on both Friday and Saturday for both day of and in advance. Children 3 and under get in free both days.
Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult in the family fun zone and all ticket sales end at 8:00 p.m. with the attractions closing at 8:30 p.m. both nights.
There will be plenty of food and craft vendors as well. A complete list can be found below:

In addition, the Ducky Derby is returning for its second year on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 each and there are a total of 500 tickets. To get tickets, call 724-456-3180.
First prize is $500, second prize is $300, Third Prize is $200, Fourth Prize is $150, Fifth Prize is $100 and Sixth Prize is $50. The winning duck's name will be featured in next year's advertising.
Fans of Super Mario can look forward to the bike parade on Friday where bike riders can dress up as their favorite Mario characters with prizes awarded for the first second and third best costumes.
Lineup for the parade begins at 4:30 p.m. and the parade itself kicks off at 5:00 p.m.
And of course, the festival wouldn't be complete without the annual fireworks show to close it all out at 10:00 p.m. Saturday. The fireworks can be viewed in Riverside Park, but there's plenty of other places to view them too.
Fireworks can also be viewed in the Saint Michael's parking lot / cemetery, the Old Memorial Pool Area and parking lot, the Greenville Borough parking lot on Shenango Street, Saint Paul's Campus and the Thiel College and Lower Campus parking lots.
