Sheetz, a chain of popular gas stations in the Northeast and Midwest, says it will provide gas a reduced prices for the 4th of July.

The offer starts at 12:01am on the 4th, and lasts all day or until supplies run out.

The price, you ask? $1.776, of course, celebrating the year the Declaration of Independence was signed.

At a cost of just over half of current gas prices, you can get a full tank of freedom-priced gas.

The promotional offer is valid at all 675+ Sheetz locations, and applies to regular, E85, Unleaded 88, mid-grade, ethanol-free (E0), and premium fuels according to a release from Sheetz.

The promotional offer does not apply to diesel fuel.

Sheetz also offered the following statement from the company's president and CEO, Travis Sheetz:

"Sheetz is a family owned and operated company and we are always looking for ways to assist the communities and customers that we serve. We hope this discount helps our customers keep a little more change in their wallets as they travel to celebrate the 4th of July with friends and family, with an obvious nod to our nation's birthday."
