Youngstown woman indicted on six felony counts for murder of 13 year old

Shamara Green has been charged with six felonies in relation to the May 19th fatal shooting of 13 year old London Jones.
Green is charged with murder, felonious assault, involuntary manslaughter, discharge of a firearm on or near prohibited premises, aggravated assault, and reckless homicide. Each charge also carries a firearm specification.
The charges come after Green shot Jones at what Youngstown Police called an "irresponsible gathering" of people in May.
The teen, London Jones, was shot on the 400 block of Carroll Street at around 12:30am on May 19th, 2023.
Police responded to a call of shots fired after a fight broke out on the street.
Police say that Jones was not the intended target, and believe that they knew who the intended target was, but did not disclose their identity.
Police also tell 21 News that they believe the altercation started as an argument on social media.
