Premier Bank has selected a Trumbull County organization to receive a generous donation.

The Animal Welfare League in Trumbull County was selected by the bank's Mahoning Valley Market to receive the $1,500 donation.

The donation is part of the Internal Kindness Campaign by Premier Bank. Throughout the month of May, the bank's market with the most reported community service hours had the opportunity to donate $1,500 to the local non-profit organization of their choice.

About 295 hours of community service were reported by 75 associates throughout the bank's entire footprint. The bank's Mahoning Valley market was the winner of the challenge, with 126 hours reported locally, according to the bank.
