A man who federal authorities say stashed drugs and more than $1 million in four Youngstown homes will be sentenced in October.

Vincent Barber, 60, pleaded guilty Tuesday to five counts including conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, as well as possession with intent to distribute cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, and crack.

Sentencing for Barber is set for October 17.

Barber’s co-defendant, Ramon Wright, has yet to go on trial for conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, as well as possession with intent to distribute cocaine and heroin.

According to an indictment, back in February of 2019 Barber was found with 58 pounds of cocaine, and Wright had 46 pounds of cocaine stored at four addresses on Gibson Street and Potomac Avenue in Youngstown.

In addition to finding several guns, agents say they confiscated $1,271,144 in cash as well as crack, heroin, and a mixture of heroin and fentanyl.
