A Boardman man is accused of ransacking multiple vehicles throughout the township early Saturday morning.

According to a police report from Boardman PD, 39-year-old Andy Dicioccio stole various items from multiple vehicles from homes on multiple streets.

One victim on Forest Park Drive had video of Dicioccio on a doorbell camera showing him attempting to break into his vehicle, as well as his son's.

Police say nothing of value had been stolen from the Forest Park Drive vehicles, but $60 in cash were missing from a vehicle on Lemans Drive.

Officers soon located Dicioccio based on his appearance in the doorbell camera footage. Police say when they asked Dicioccio if he had any weapons on him, he said no, but officers found a gun in his coat pocket.

Dicioccio allegedly told police he denied having a weapon at first because he was scared. He also allegedly admitting to stealing the gun as well as candy and money found in his pocket from multiple different vehicles, but he didn't keep track of how many he had broken into.

Police say Dicioccio told them he intended to sell the gun. He was then arrested and booked into the Mahoning County Jail.

Later that morning, police were approached by a man who found a woman's purse in his driveway on West Boulevard. Police tracked down the owner of the purse who said she had left the purse in her vehicle.

Police say nothing appeared to be missing from the purse, but there was a debit card inside that belonged to a male. Police located the male who told police he was missing a handgun from his vehicle.

Video captured on a doorbell camera shows a suspect breaking into the male's car at around 1:00 a.m. Police believe this to be Dicioccio.

Dicioccio is charged with two counts of receiving stolen property, one count of carrying concealed weapons and one count of criminal trespassing.
