Austintown Fitch softball team honored by Cafaro Foundation after state title win

The Cafaro Foundation honored the latest team in the Mahoning Valley to capture a state championship.
A Champions Rally was held Wednesday afternoon honoring the Austintown Fitch softball team.
The Lady Falcons captured their first state championship on June 3, defeating Anthony Wayne High School 6-1 to become OHSAA Division 1 champions.
During the rally, the Cafaro Foundation presented the school district with a $10,000 check.
The Lady Falcons went undefeated this season.
