More than 300,000 Jeep SUVs have been recalled for an issue that could lead to the rear coil springs potentially detaching while driving.

The recall was issued on June 8 for 2022-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee models and 2021-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L vehicles.

If a rear coil detaches while driving, it creates an increased risk of a crash.

If your vehicle is included in the recall, dealers will inspect it and repair the rear coil assemblies.

Letters will be sent to owners by mail on July 28.
