Ashley Furniture has issued a recall on several different powered furniture items due to a potential fire hazard.

According to the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) the furniture store chain recalled its loveseats with the model numbers 3700318, 3700418, 3700318C and 3700418C, its sofas with the model numbers 3700315, 3700415, 3700315C and 3700415C and its recliners with the model numbers 3700313, 3700413, 3700313C and 3700413C.

All of the recalled products have power controls and integrated LED lighting and USB charging ports. They were sold at Ashley Furniture both in stores and online between November 2018 and March 2023 for between $900 and $1,800 apiece.

According to the CPSC, the company has been made aware of at least six incidents where the cupholder with LED lighting overheated causing fire and smoke damage, as well as damages to the product. No injuries have been reported at this time.

Anyone who has purchased a recalled product should immediately unplug it and contact Ashley Furniture for a complimentary product repair.
