The final top prize for the Ohio Lottery’s scratch-off, $250,000 a Year for Life, has been claimed by the EAS Trust, according to the lottery commission.
Jeffrey D. Heinz is the trustee of the trust holding the ticket that earned the winning top prize entry.
Ohio law permits the creation of trusts to claim lottery prizes so the identity of big winners can remain a secret.
The $10 scratch-off was sold at Colla’s Market, located at 5509 Mahoning Avenue in Austintown.
The EAS Trust will receive a lump sum payment of $2.5 million before taxes.
The winner was chosen in the game’s top prize drawing, a special drawing for tickets with the TPD entry symbol.
There were a total of 76 entries in the drawing.
