A 29-year-old woman arrested for last week's murder of a thirteen-year-old Youngstown girl is expected to appear for a video arraignment in Youngstown Municipal Court at 1:30 p.m. on Monday.

That's according to officials at the Mahoning County jail where Shamara Green has been held since Friday morning following her arrest for the shooting death of London Jones.

Shot during a fight during a block party on the 400 block of Carroll Street at around 12:30 a.m. Friday, Jones was pronounced dead at Mercy Hospital.

Municipal Court records show that Green is charged with murder and felonious assault.

A conviction on the murder charge could bring a sentence of 15 years to life in prison.
