Local boxer Rosenberger preps for big name fight

Danny Rosenberger gets to fight on the big stage later this month against Nico Ali Walsh, the grandson of boxing legend Muhammed Ali.

The fight, May 20 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas is on the undercard of the Devin Haney - Vasily Lomachenko championship fight.

"It means the world to me," said Rosenberger, who's 13-9 & 4 with one knockout. "It's a dream come true and everything I've worked for the last 10 t0 15 years."

Ali Walsh is undefeated in 8 fights with 6 knockouts. 

"At the end of the day its me versus him," said Rosenberger, "I can't let him win any aspect. I have to win bell to bell, the beginning, the middle and the end of the round."

The bout is scheduled to be the first on the Pay Per View card.
