Mill Creek MetroParks has announced the date for this year's Farm Animal Baby Shower.

The annual event is being held on Saturday, May 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the MetroParks Farm (7574 Columbiana-Canfield Road) in Canfield.

Families can visit the barns for free to meet the new arrivals including goats, piglets, calves, chicks, alpacas and peacocks.

There will also be mother animals who are expecting, a cow to milk and rabbits to pets.

You can also take part in wagon rides and feed the animals.

The barns are open daily for public viewing of the animals from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
