Permanent health clinic opens in East Palestine Monday

Since the February 3rd train derailment and subsequent controlled burn in East Palestine, health concerns have been at the forefront of the community's mind.
On Monday, a permanent health clinic will open in the village to give residents easy access to healthcare for the foreseeable future.
A grand opening is set for 10 a.m. Monday morning. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Department of Health Director Bruce Vanderhoff will be in attendance.
The clinic is located at 139 North Walnut Street, and will be open to see patients from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
It will provide traditional primary care including treatment, prescriptions, and lab testing. Consultations with specialists are also available as needed.
The clinic will accept patients beginning at 2 p.m. Monday, following the grand opening. Appointments are required, and can be made by calling 330-383-6020.
This permanent health clinic will replace the clinic that was set up shortly after the derailment at the First Church of Christ on West Martin Street.
