Wellsville Police calling on public to identify body found on shore of Ohio River
Wellsville Police are calling on the public for assistance in finding out the identity of a body that was found washed up on the shore of the Ohio River Wednesday morning.
According to a public bulletin from Ohio Attorney General, Dave Yost, an autopsy conducted revealed that the body was that of a Black or biracial male in his 30s or 40s.
The male was approximately five feet and nine inches tall and weighed approximately 189 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was found wearing black pants, blue underwear and a red and black watch on his left wrist.
The bulletin states that the male did not match the description of any known missing persons in the area.
