Warner Cascade Theatre in New Castle celebrating 100 years of Warner Brothers Studios
It's been exactly 100 years since Warner Brothers Studios celebrated its incorporation in 1923 in California.
Here in the Valley, the Warner Cascade Theatre Museum in New Castle is sharing in the celebration.
It was the first theater the four brothers, Harry, Albert, Sam and Jack opened on February 2, 1907.
"THEY NEED TO KNOW THAT HISTORY IS IN THEIR NEIGHBOrHOOD, THAT THEY CAN COME HERE AND STAND WHERE THE FOUR WARNER BROTHERS STOOD PHYSICIALLY. YOU'RE RIGHT IN THEIR SPACE. THEIR SPIRITS ARE RIGHT HERE WITH YOU," Robert Vargo, Historic Warner Cascade Theater Museum acting curator said.
Celebrations are happening all year long for the occasion.
Every Saturday, the theatre will play Looney Tunes for an hour and a half beginning at noon.
Each Wednesday, they'll play a classic Warner Brothers film at noon.
Those events will run through 2023 and are free to attend.
