A Berlin Township man, who along with his 76-year-old mother is already charged in a 100-plus count serial stalking indictment, has been secretly indicted on new charges.

Jamie Longnecker, 47, was booked into the Mahoning County Jail Monday after Assistant Prosecutor Ken Cardinal asked a judge to revoke his bond.

A secret indictment filed on Thursday added two new counts of Menacing by Stalking and one count of Intimidation of an Attorney, Victim, or Witness in a Criminal Case.

According to the indictment, the alleged crimes were directed toward members of a Berlin Township family between September 4 and September 9 of 2022.

A judgment entry signed Monday by Mahoning County Common Pleas Court Judge Anthony D'Apolito granted the revocation of Jamie Longnecker's bond, "as the result of his continued conduct and violation of his conditions of bond, namely to obey all laws."

The prosecutor’s office told 21 News that Longnecker faces an April 11 arraignment on the new charges, but declined to reveal more details.

According to the indictment, this is not the first time Longnecker was in trouble for stalking. It was back in March 2021 when the Mahoning County grand jury handed up a more than 100-count indictment naming Longnecker and his mother Karen.

Additionally, police reports from Goshen Township dated as early as 2010 reveal that numerous victims have reported receiving unwanted mail from Longnecker, with some containing sexually explicit images according to police.

Both are charged with more than 50 counts each in connection to stalking crimes throughout Mahoning County.

Investigators characterized the investigation as a "serial stalking" case involving 30 alleged victims, a charity, and police officers assisting in the investigation.

The 103-count indictment alleged that Longnecker sent pornographic images to the targeted individuals through the mail.

Mahoning County Sheriff Detective Patrick Mondora said at the time of the 2021 indictment that he had been dealing with Longnecker for a decade and believes he is obsessed with women.

One of those victims was allegedly the family of a young girl who worked with Jamie Longnecker, according to the indictment, which further alleged that Longnecker became obsessed with the young girl when she didn't befriend him.

Mondora said Longnecker used the internet to find the addresses of the victim's family members. Longnecker’s mother was accused of supplying him with computer equipment.

Jamie Longnecker was also accused of tracking his neighbor's schedule and taking photos of her.

Jamie Longnecker has a criminal history of stalking, menacing, and violating various protection orders dating back to 2000.

He served a three-year prison sentence for the same activity in 2011.

Court records indicate that the mother and son were scheduled to enter a plea in the 2021 case on April 19.  It isn’t known if Monday’s arrest of Longnecker will result in the cancelation of that plea hearing.
