Business leaders Mark Mediate and Lisa Mariotti are taking on the role of co-chairpersons for the 2023 Tri-County American Heart Association Heart Ball.

Mediate, vice president and commercial relationship manager at Premier Bank, and Mariotti, district sales manager at Grainger, were chosen as co-chairs for their leadership and commitment to the tri-county area, according to AHA Executive Director Lisa Wheeler-Cooper.

"As trusted members of the community, they understand the impact the mission and work of the American Heart Association can have on every person who lives in this area," Wheeler-Cooper said. "We welcome Mark and Lisa to the Heart of Tri-County, an initiative that centers around better health for every individual by focusing on critical issues and work to equitably improve and save lives."

The Heart Ball honors survivors, patrons and volunteers associated with the American Heart Association. The night is full of stories from survivors, an auction and food.

The 2023 Heart Ball is set for November 2 at the Eastwood Event Centre.
