A Warren man is being held in the Trumbull County Jail in connection with two Palm Sunday shootings that hospitalized a woman and left one man dead.

According to Police Detective John Greaver, officers were called to 690 Lener Avenue

SW just after 4 a.m. to investigate reports of gunfire.

At that address, police found the body of 34-year-old James Chapman.

A second gunshot victim, a female whose name has not been released, was taken to Mercy Hospital in Youngstown.

Kashaun Williams, 19, was booked into the county jail on charges of carrying a concealed weapon, assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, obstructing official business, and having a weapon under a disability.
