Local McDonald's locations looking to hire hundreds of workers ahead of summer season
Youngstown McDonald's restaurants are looking to hire a number of employees as they gear up for the summer season.
According to the release, Youngstown-area locations are looking to add 200 new employees immediately. Throughout the northeast Ohio region, the chain hopes to add 6,000 workers.
McDonald's offers on-the-job training, schedule flexibility and access to discounted food at any participating location in the country.
Participating locations also offer employees programs to earn a high school diploma, take ESL classes and get tuition assistance for higher education.
"As small business owners, we take a lot of pride in being a part of the communities we serve, and we are grateful to be able to offer our employees benefits like tuition assistance, flexible scheduling and free meals," said John Perdue, McDonald's owner & operator. "We also know how important it is for employees to like where they work, and we can't wait to welcome more employees into our teams this spring."
