Eastern Gateway Community College (EGCC) and Foxconn have partnered to create a new program for technical training.

The partnership utilizes EGCC's Industrial Maintenance Program to provide training for Foxconn Ohio maintenance employees at Youngstown State University's Excellence Training Center.

The training classes will consist of eight modules with the first two scheduled to be completed this month.

Each National Institute of Metal Working Skills credential aligns with modules ranging from Maintenance Operations to Electrical Systems.

The selected employees will then move into maintenance roles within Foxconn.
