Two people escape, pets die in house fire on Youngstown's west side
First calls for the fire at a home on Wesley Avenue went out around 5:40 p.m. Thursday.
Youngstown firefighters responded to a burning home on the west side Thursday evening.
First calls for the fire at a home on Wesley Avenue went out around 5:40 p.m.
Two people were inside at the time but got out safely.
Fire officials told 21 News that three dogs and a rabbit died inside.
The home is severely damaged and the Red Cross has been contacted.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the blaze.
