The Girard City School District has released renders of a construction project for the Junior / Senior High School complex.

According to a press release, the new facility will include a performing arts center housing a 950-seat auditorium, music classrooms, a staging area, changing rooms, a storage area, practice rooms and a new parking lot.

In addition, the project will also incorporate the construction of the new Board of Education Offices.

This project will not require any additional operating levies thanks to years of financial planning. The project is scheduled to be released for bids between late spring and early summer.

According to a press release, additional design and plan updates will be available in the near future.
