U.S. Marshals are currently looking for a suspect still at large who was last seen on Youngstown's east side Thursday morning.

Marshals identified the suspect at 37-year-old Kevin Peeples, who has been a parole violator at large since January of 2022. He was originally charged with endangering a child.

Court records show these charges stem from a 2017 court case where Peeples was charged with four counts of endangering children. He was sentenced in 2019.

Peeples was last seen early Thursday morning when he fled a residence on the 2400 Block of Rosewood Avenue in Youngstown when Marshals attempted to arrest him on his 37th birthday.

Marshals along with officers from the Youngstown Police Department searched a wooded area between Early Road and Liberty road for Peeples, but were unsuccessful in locating him.

The Mahoning County Sheriff's Department also flew a drone throughout the area to assist with the search.

Peeples is described as a Black male standing at 5'10 and weighing 215 pounds. His last known address is a home at the 2400 Block of Rosewood Avenue.
