YSU Women's Lacrosse coach relieved of duties

The school's athletic director confirms Kendall Clarkson is no longer the coach

Kendyl Clarkson is out as the Youngstown State women's Lacrosse coach.

Executive Director of Athletics Ron Strollo confirmed to 21 Sports Clarkson is no longer the coach adding, "I can't comment on personnel matters."

Clarkson coached in Tuesday's win over Gardner-Webb.

Halle Kotulock is now listed as the Penguins head coach.

Clarkson took over the YSU program last September after initially joining the staff as an assistant in July 2019 and helped them to a Mid-American Conference title in just their second season.

The Penguins are 2-5 & next play at Canisius Sunday.
