Friends and family have been searching high and low for a Greenville teen who's been missing for over a week.

Seventeen-year-old Liam Cross has been missing for since Wednesday, March 1 according to a friend of one of Cross's friends.

This friend tells 21 News that Cross was last seen near the Greenville Fire Department where he allegedly told his friends he was going to walk over to another friend's house. Cross never returned.

Hempfield Township Police are handling the case and describe Cross as a "runaway juvenile" and tell 21 News he has been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database.

Cross's friend tells 21 News that Cross has no phone or wallet on him and she and Cross's friends are concerned for his well-being citing past emotional issues.

Liam is described as six feet tall weighing 150 pounds. He has his ears pierced and sometimes wears glasses, however it is unknown if he was wearing glasses when he went missing.
