Warren City Council member resigns, plans to relocate
4th Ward Councilman Mark Forte has decided to resign, and move with his wife to South Carolina.
Warren City Council has a vacancy to fill.
4th Ward Councilman Mark Forte has decided to resign, and move with his wife to South Carolina.
Forte decided earlier this year that he will not be continuing with the council due to his plans to fully retire and relocate.
The former councilman sold his home in Warren, and bought a house in North Myrtle Beach.
"We're looking to head somewhere warmer, my wife and I and are going in search of some sun and some sand," said Mark Forte.
4th Ward City Council will hold a meeting Tuesday, March 7 at the Trumbull County Democratic Party Headquarters starting at 5:30 p.m. to appoint a replacement for Forte for the remainder of the 2023 term.
