Incumbent Struthers judge back on the ballot after unanimous vote

A candidate for judge in the Struthers Municipal Court is back on the ballot after the Board of Election unanimously voted to reinstate him during a meeting on Wednesday.
Incumbent judge, Dominic Leone has been reinstated after previously being removed from the ballot after it was determined that some signatures weren't valid, which pushed him to 49 out of the 50 signatures he needed.
After this ruling, Leone filed an appeal and a meeting was held late Wednesday afternoon to discuss this.
According to Attorney and former Mahoning County Democratic Party Chairman, Dave Betras, Leone was able to provide affidavits that proved that certain signatures deemed invalid were indeed valid, once again allowing him to meet the 50 signature threshold.
Leone will appear on the May 2 Primary ballot as a Democrat running against fellow Democrat, James Melone and Republican candidate, Jennifer Ciccone.
