YSU Track and Field teams win Horizon League Indoor Championships

The Youngstown State men's track and field team won its eighth consecutive Horizon League Indoor Championship Sunday, while the women's team came from behind to win its seventh straight championship.
The men's team finished with 221 points to win the championship, while Oakland was the runner-up with 148 points and Milwaukee was third at 139.
Dominic Perry (shot put), Luke Laubacher (60m hurdles), Jakari Lomax (triple jump) and Hunter Christopher (3,000m) won events on the final day at Lutheran Health Fieldhouse on the campus of Purdue Fort Wayne.

Meanwhile, the Lady Guins tracked down Milwaukee to finish the day with 182 points, while the Panthers had 178.
Morgan Cole (mile and 3,000m), Jahniya Bowers (60m and 200m), Olivia Jones (high jump) and Nia Williams-Matthews (triple jump) won events to help complete the comeback.
