Five people were life-flighted with serious injuries after a head-on collision in Lisbon on Tuesday.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports Sally Lykens, 48, of Salineville, was driving a Jeep Cherokee northbound on Fife Coal Road when a Chevrolet 2500 crossed left of center and hit the Jeep head-on.

Lykens was life-flighted to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown. Her grandchildren, ages 1, 3 and 5 were all life-flighted to UPMC Children's Hospital.

Thomas Trevor, 70, of Wellsville, was driving the Chevrolet and was life-flighted to UPMC, Presbyterian with life-threatening injuries.

As of Wednesday morning, troopers say all five victims were in stable condition.

The crash is still under investigation, and alcohol use is suspected.
